RECENTLY:
July, 2009
-Whoops that photo project really ended up short lived; but it was fun for a few weeks!
- Goodbye, house I partly grew up in.
-For the rest of the summer I'm posting one picture I've taken each day. Still working out how best to display (present format distracting).
I love criticism so contact me even if it's just to say how sophomoric and terrible the photos are.
-In the AR: A review of a community center in Chicago by Studio Gang.
June, 2009
For the longest time, this section marked "recently" featured things from 2007. I guess "recent" is relative? Let's try this again...
-RECENTLY I've been living in Los Angeles, doing work for the AR and assisting at Doug Aitken's studio when I'm in town.
-RECENTLY I finished work on the most recent issue of the Architectural Review. Look out for it. There are four pieces about Chilean architecture (building off a trip I went on with Elias Redstone). There is also an interview I did with Dan Graham, photographed by Asad Raza, and a review of a conversation between my friend Fritz and a Mexican artist.
-On 06 June, I burnt a mackerel. I was drawing and left it in the oven. That was poor form.
May 2009
-Yale crit for Liza Fior's studio on the Olympic legacy in London.
April 2009
-In the AR: A review of Alice Tully Hall by DSR; a review of a dialogue between Greg Lynn and Alexander McDowell; a piece on how Obama's stimulus package will effect architects in the US.
-Finally decided on architecture school! Princeton for the three year m.Arch.
