Venice Hotel, 2013 (A speculation)
Looking at the absurdity of parametric planning (how can we accelerate planning to account for individual desires, to quantify qualities, and to translate collective individualism into new kinds of dispersed space?) in Venice in order to thicken its already clogged arterial passages. This is achieved through looking at its historical language as a site of camouflage and inspiration. In the end, chubby ornaments clutter the city's left-over spaces both to represent and house the hyperbolic needs of the city's swarming tourists.
